Home on Sunday

Finally, my husband made it home last night. It was chilly out, and I wore my dress without a jacket so I wouldn't ruin my outfit. I was excited, and nervous all at the same time. I had to eat some tums before I headed over to the staging area. I was a wreck. As usual though, everything was perfect once I saw him. It was nuts trying to navigate through the sea of people trying to find him, but I found him. He was on the last bus to come in. In my crazy mind, I was thinking "oh no, did they forget my Ben". Of course they didn't... but, you know. I'm just a little cynical like that.

So, here are a few photos. I have some better ones coming, a friend took some professional quality photos, and I'll get those on a disk some time next week, and of course I will post those as well. But, for now here are some teaser shots.

Right now I am blogging and my husband is making me breakfast. His specialty is eggs benedict. Before he came home he asked me to go shopping for the ingredients because he wanted to make me breakfast. It happens to be my favorite. It's really good to have him home. It's been a long deployment, and I'm so glad it's over.
